These terms are a contract between you and the operator above ("Unbookable", "we") whenever you use unbookable.com (the "Service"). If you do not agree with them, do not use the Service.
1. What the Service is. Unbookable is an editorial travel guide. We rank hotels by demand signals: how hard they are to book, not how luxurious they are. We publish rankings, scores, tiers, commentary, and data trends built from public signals and our own sampling. We are not a travel agency, we do not sell rooms, we do not take bookings, and we have no commercial relationship with the hotels we cover unless we say so explicitly on the page.
2. Scores are editorial opinion, not guarantees. Our scores, tiers, availability classifications, and any projections are editorial data signals: a point-in-time reading of public demand indicators and sampled availability. They are opinion, not fact claims about any hotel's quality, pricing, or future availability, and they can be wrong or out of date. Always verify availability, prices, and details with the hotel before making plans. We accept no responsibility for travel decisions made on the strength of a number we published.
3. Accounts. You can read almost everything without an account. If you create one, sign-in is passwordless: a code or link sent to your email, or Google sign-in. You are responsible for keeping control of that email account, because whoever controls it controls your Unbookable account. You must be at least 16 to create an account. One account per person; do not impersonate anyone.
4. Free features. Signed-in users can save hotels, vote on upcoming destinations, and spend a small number of reveal credits to see the raw numbers behind our tier labels. Credits have no monetary value, cannot be transferred or redeemed, and we may change how many are granted or what they unlock as the product evolves. Votes are input to our roadmap, not a binding election.
5. The coming paid tier. We plan a paid subscription ("Pro") that unlocks more of the data layer. When it launches, billing will be handled by RevenueCat and processed by Stripe. Your card details will go to Stripe, not to us; payment data never touches our servers. Subscriptions will renew until cancelled; cancelling will stop renewal at the end of the paid period. Statutory withdrawal and refund rights that apply where you live are not affected by anything in these terms. Pricing and exact terms will be published with the launch, and this section will be updated before anyone is charged.
6. Acceptable use. Do not: break, probe, or overload the Service; scrape or bulk-harvest our data or content for republication or for building a competing dataset; circumvent feature gates, credits, or access controls; use the Service to harass anyone; or upload anything unlawful. Reasonable personal use, linking, quoting with attribution, and search-engine indexing are all welcome.
7. Our content and yours. The Service, including scores, rankings, editorial text, design, and the case-file visual system, is ours or licensed to us, and protected by intellectual property law. Hotel names, trademarks, and photographs of properties belong to their owners; their appearance here is editorial reference, not endorsement in either direction. Content you submit through tip-offs or votes: you grant us a permanent, royalty-free licence to use it in operating and improving the Service; do not send us anything confidential.
8. Availability of the Service. Unbookable is provided "as is". We work to keep it accurate and online, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability, and we may change, suspend, or retire features (including free features and credits) at any time.
9. Liability. To the fullest extent the law allows: we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for travel plans, bookings, or spending decisions made in reliance on our editorial content. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (for free users: zero). Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent, gross negligence, or anything that cannot lawfully be limited.
10. Ending things. You can delete your account at any time from the account menu; deletion is immediate and permanent (see the Privacy Policy for exactly what is erased). We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms. Sections that by their nature survive (intellectual property, liability, governing law) survive termination.
11. Changes to these terms. We may update these terms as the product evolves. For material changes we will give signed-in users reasonable notice (email or an in-product notice) before the new terms apply. The effective date at the top always tells you which version you are reading.
12. Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer law where you live gives you a different forum. Nothing here limits mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
13. Contact. Questions about these terms: [email protected]. The Privacy Policy, which explains what data we hold and why, lives at unbookable.com/privacy.
