Canggu is the coastal strip on Bali's south-west coast between Seminyak and Tanah Lot, a patchwork of four sub-zones the locals still separate out: Batu Bolong around the surf break and Old Man's bar, Berawa with Finns Beach Club and the late-night crowd, Echo Beach further north with the reef break and quieter rice paddies behind it, and Pererenan beyond that, the frontier that's absorbing the overflow as Berawa saturates.
